Storistes de France specializes in the manufacturing of doors and windows, along with associated products such as blinds, and shutters. They approached us for a new brand strategy and visual identity that would reflect their bespoke approach to clients and emphasize the value of their designs.
Insight
A simple insight emerged from my research: the essence of the company’s business is the manipulation of light. Proper light management makes a room cozier and people’s lives brighter. With that in mind, I began searching for a visual language capable of representing light in a non-figurative way. The inspiration for the graphic elements came from the play of shadows created by window frames and blinds.
Logotype
The new monochrome logo illustrates the passage of light through the wide “O” and “A” letterforms. The typography is modern and robust, emphasizes the technical expertise.
